Located in the heart of Kadıköy, at a point where urban memory is strong, the Kadıköy Municipality Service Building has been designed with a transparent, participatory, and contemporary approach to municipal governance. The architectural design aims to create a pedestrian-prioritized, permeable, and public living space that references the city's identity.

The project is not just a service building, but also a social and cultural focal point that nourishes its surroundings. The main design principles are shaped around belonging to the place, functional diversity, energy efficiency, and public openness. The mass placement has been shaped considering the surrounding pedestrian axes, tree cover, and square relationships, and the courtyard structure concept ensures harmony with the unique fabric of Kadıköy.

The project, shaped around three main concepts – the Culture Axis, the City Square, and the Pedestrian Promenade – features mayoral and directorate units, cultural halls, and sales units planned to integrate with the city's residents. The interior design, supported by gallery spaces and skylights, aims to create a vibrant and interactive municipal building.

Sustainability has been prioritized in the facade design; energy-efficient solutions, permeable surfaces, and long-lasting materials contribute to urban aesthetics. The project aims to be a contemporary municipal center that supports public life while offering an architectural interpretation of Kadıköy's cultural richness.
